Brujería, Arcane Veil  

Europa Verano 2025 – En Memoria Brujo & Peach presented by Route One Booking & Napalm Events at Viper Room Vienna, Austria 20250811

Almost mid of August, the two best ways for concerts are either open-air or going way underground. Deep down the rabbit hole named Viper Room, Route One Booking and Napalm Events present a show in memorian of two iconic singers for the first time since they passed in 2024 and the last visit in 2023. 

Dark tunes like from Belphegor fill the air. Unfortunately, Child Cemetery had to cancel, but will support Extermination Dismemberment at Escape. So Arcane Veil are the only guests remaining on the billing, presenting sweet Modern Death Metal like countrymen Fessus or Sloow. 

They decorated the stage with a flag with the sceleton from „The Emperor’s Flame“ and obviously enjoy the show in front of friends. „Sands Of Time“ and „Stars of Nazca“ are more singles, and as a special cover, Arcane Veil play their variation of „My Heart Will Go On“. 

Then Brujería enter, one day after they honored Rockhouse together with Escuela Grind and Vor die Hunde. As intro for their Deathgrind, some Huarachona music comes from the speakers. First quarter, they hit it with „Brujerizmo“ or „Anti-Castro“. After „Angel de la Frontera“, they sing „Chingo de Mecos“ ‚for the ladies‘. 

They remember Juan Brujo and Pinche Peach and ‚keep them alive‘ with „Colas de Rata“. During the final part, they play „Consejos Narcos“, „Pito Wilson“ and „Matando Güeros“, introduce the band and do the ‚Civil Salute to the National Flag‘. 

Walking out to „Marijuana“, one might miss more hits like „Marcha de Odio“, but the two very first albums are available as vinyls at the merchandise. Also of course, Brujo and Peach are missing, but it is like with Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, still great to see Motörhead songs performed by an original member. 

Actually, the two organizers have tour of them, Discharge, Left To Die, Testament and even 1914 opening for Asesino in Mexico on their banners. And at Viper Room itself, Exhorder and Dopamine are right up next.
