To the depths and primitive, prehistoric rocks. On the search for the note, like the „Heavier Trip“, to let it ping. Up to Psychedelic hights, Pop melodies and elastic walls of sound waves like in the „Matrix“. Noise Appeal (Baits, Lausch, Phal:Angst), one of the most important Indie labels around, present a varied journey through the fields of guitar music with „Deep Dive“. 

Starting with their self-titled track on „EP1“, Dirty Talons set off an avalanche including songs like „Casket Match“, „Have Mercy“, „Bottom Line“ and „Hit Me With Your Best Shot“ by Pat Benatar. For the twelve new ones, they went to Middle Farm Studios in South Devon to record them one tape. The artwork by Robert Høyem nails the topic: the sun is up, beneath red rocks from Mars, under the eye of Jupiter a human literally dives into the rings of Saturn, and Commander Keen is watching. 

Prepared for the trip, the album hits in immediately with mighty melting riffs of three guitars like Baroness and several voices setting accents. Thus the Foo Fighters are not far as Nordic beasts like Audrey Horne. For „Can You Feel?“ And „Buck-Passer“, Simon Zauner and Bernd Faszl produced videos, with musical star Drew Sarich starring in the second. 

Meanwhile other comparisons of great voices come up like Joan Jett or April March and the band Thanks For Nothing because of the title „Thank You For Nothing“. Stadium Hard Rock vibes take over like Airbourne, before the two highlights „Family Tree“ with its bluesy groove and the proggy „ACM“. 

Punk, Pop and Metal impacts can be found as well like Vibratör or Ghost in „Claiming Space“ featuring Ella Kramer (Burnswell). The mix of Classic Rock and Indie like The Who meet The Strokes ends the album with „Hiding Memories“ including and organ. 

The massive organic sound with the voice of Jessica Howells and the broad spectrum emboss this journey of Dirty Talons like The Great Gray Funk. And to celebrate the release of CD and (splatter) vinyl, the band invites to Arena together with Lion Season.
