„FILLIN_THE_BLANK“ Album Release Show presented by Mind Over Matter Music at Flex Vienna, Austria 20260312

It‘s a throwback to a decade that will never return: This Thursday blows off the dust from the 90s at Flex, while Blaze Bailey takes to another past at Viper Room and BoomTschackKunst presents the future with likes of Amelie Tobien.

Every time again, the staff at the entry, the bar and the warderobe is very welcoming. Hosted by Mind Over Matter, Georg auf Lieder is tonight‘s support act. He gets on stage ‚as his own manager and the artist‘. With a lot of interaction and motivation, he gets the full hall on his side. His short set includes „Schwer in Ordnung“ about being big, „Goodbye Hamsterrad“ and „Tarzan & Jane“, which the crowd sings with him. Having a hard task opening alone with an acoustic guitar, Georg auf Lieder definitely makes the best out of it.

At the merchandise table at Flex Café, headliner H-Blockx got everything possible: hoodies, (hockey-) shirts, socks, gym- and pusherbags, caps, beenies, vinyls, CDs and limited screen-printed city posters with data like capacity 700 and more by thebicyclepress. They got famous in the era of Crossover like Dog Eat Dog, Crazy Town, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, P.O.D., Sevendust or Drowning Pool later, who will play at the very venue soon.

So H-Blockx found their sound and take it to the stages again like at Forestglade festival or this album release tour. Taking the nightliner from Conrad Sohm to Vienna, they are coming „STRAIGHT_OUTTA_NOWHERE“ to ask „How Do You Feel?“ and set the „Countdown to Insanity“.

The audience of mainly their generation is on their side as well, as highlights are hard to pick. „Timeless“ and „Move“ can be listed for sure. With „Desperado“, singer Henning Wehland takes a look on his life. H-Blockx turn the „LIGHTS_OUT“ or talk about the „Little Girl“ without missing covers like „The Power“ from Snap! (soon live at Donauinsel) before the regular final „Risin‘ High“.

After „CORNS_ABOUT_2_POP“, they add „Ring Of Fire“ for those who might have just explored them. At the end, the only pity is that the friendly Flex was not big enough for the fans of H-Blockx and their timetravel.
