Children’s Stories Of Doubts, Love & Life
jakuba feat. keeplove
Ranch zum Unterm Riadbom Feldkirch-Tisis, Austria 20251003
Surrounded by majestic mountains, the Kulturverein ‚Unterm Riadbom‘ has its headquaters at a ranch in the middle of the fields, where likes of Ruhmer and Yunger played before. As temperatures are getting lower and stormy winds are ahead, they light up the fire outside and inside the stove, so it gets cosy for a very rare and exclusive concert.
Jakob Köhle and Andy ‚Steinadler‘ Steiner alias jakuba feat. keeplove usually are busy with their numerous projects like Saltbrennt or Spilif. But Andy likes to create beats, and Jakob is a great MC, so sometimes they produce songs together, and for the fourth time after Telfs, they even get those on stage.
A fabric flower decorates the microphone stand, and a glitter jacket the table of equipment. The duo starts with a tale about the grandmother and „Der Jäger“ followed by „Pack Mich Ein“. Already in this first ones, their critical view and the high amount of humour are right there.
So their lyrics make one think, even though their packed in children’s stories e.g. about „Taka Tuka Land“. Other ones they just tell between the songs, that include a Fettes Brot allusion. From the „Saunapapa“, they head over to „Der Heiliger Martin“, another poetic highlight.
jakuba and keeplove get their audience with their charm, calling them babies, welcoming a guest, who travelled here from Vienna, Jakob changing his glasses and clothes, and talking about the name of villages in Vorarlberg. A topic, Bada made a song about with Diggerue, who is present as well as MC Pille One from linksabbiegA.
The show also makes think of Scheibsta or aggrar niederhof, packing serious issues like the environment, love and life in general into fun tracks. Online, they would have even more, but after ten ‚Liedchen‘ and an encore, jakuba feat. keeplove get to an end. And after laughing tears and enjoying the guitar solos, the evening fades like the fire in the fields between the mountains.
