Philharmonic Orchestra Of Psych And Noise
Liquid Earth, Lilac Vegetal
10th Anniversary at Chelsea Wien, Austria 20260110
As the new year ascents, the city’s heart is broiling: Demonstrators for St. Marx gather there with Glut amongst others. WNMR celebrate their seventh anniversary. In Germany, Blackdoor Reflections hosts Ozymandias and more. And looking to fateful 2016, many pay tribute to David Bowie.
At Chelsea, a poster announces the 10 year anniversary show with a church window in the back and lips up front. Stepping inside, the unusual voice of Wino and tunes by QOTSA and Soundgarden warm from the cold. Soon enough, Lilac Vegetal come up as special guest of the evening.
Back at Kramladen, they proofed they know how to go Hardcore. Yet with their Doom Stoner Noise background, they appeared with likes of Grimms Eye or Ultima Radio. Anyway, the trio presents itself headstrong, filling the place within seconds. Wether slow and heavy or disturbing with screams – they captivate.
The same applies to the second L tonight: Liquid Earth. Their Heavy Psych they shared with likes of Savanah or Mothers Of The Land and like this, they conquered the Gürtel Nightwalk at Café Carina. ‚Bist du deppert, so viele Leute‘, they remark in amazement. The reply are ‚Liquid Earth‘ shouts from the crowd.
During the instrumental spiritual ride, the fans even do a choreography, throwing their hands to the air and clapping with the rhythm. Closing the eyes, it is like the philharmonic orchestra of Rock is playing a concert just for you. Again, the fans value the gift with a birthday song.
In the middle of the stage, Liquid Earth placed a small table with a little gimmick to perform a funny outro. So what unites both bands of the night is the obvious joy of doing the music they love. Still the night is young and the Black Parade awaiting..
