Yet here we go again for another Sunday trip. As people in shirts of Joy Division, The Beatles, Beastie Boys, Black Sabbath and Dragged Into Bliss by dazed and confused shows gather at the yard of the WUK, there must be something going on. 

At the merchandise table, not only shirts and vinyls are available, but also a print of the beautiful ‚July‘ tour poster. Entering the hall, two screens are ready for visuals, while David Stecher (Black Lashes and The Face) of True Peak Sounds (Woodrock and more) is responsible for the sound of the support band Sister Of Your Sunshine Vapor. 

Counting the man on the backing effects, the trio is a quad, building transmitting structures like Earthset. The hat of singer Sean Morrow is an eye-catcher, Eric Oppitz (b) dances and Rick Sawoscinski (d) makes use of two tambourines. And so they ‚slow it down‘ to ‚speed it up just a little‘ and ‚slow it down‘ again. 

Next up are The Dandy Warhols. While Oasis celebrate their comeback, they just been around, embarking heavy Psychedelic influence on likes of Jim Noir or The Black Hollies. Even though the hall was cooled in the beginning, now the 500 fans feel the heat. 

They start with „Ride“ and „You Were the Last High“. As it is the birthday of frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor, the audience sings a serenade. Coming to the ‚first song of the first album‘, he ponders ‚I believe it’s an anniversary.. it’s always an anniversary of something‘. 

The trip evolves with „I Love You“. One hit follows the next with „I’d Like To Help You With Your Problem“ (ft. Slash), „Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth“, „We Used to Be Friends“, „STYGGO“, „Mohammed“ and „Godless“. Their biggest one „Bohemian Like You“ is a live must-see. After a fantastic Psychedelic show, they leave with „Every Day Should Be a Holiday“, and Zia McCabe ends with „Daisy On My Toe“.
