Visceral Disgorge, 9Dead, Viscral, Heretical Mutation

The summer of Death slowly comes to an end in exchange with venues like the Arena Beisl, Café Carina or Escape Metalcorner. So the basement of the Viper Room invites four names, four playing styles, four variations of brutal Metal. 

As local support act, Heretical Mutation open the evening. With their pure ‚Slamming Brutal Death‘, they have the audience on their side, as the singer gets down from stage to mosh with them. Merchandise they don’t have to date, but great cover versions like „Babykiller“ by Devourment or own ones like „Benchpressing Dead Midgets“. 

Then the running order changes, as Viscral from Indonesia (and Bali) take over with their ‚Brutal Death‘ as first ones of the tour package. They obviously are enjoying themselves, interact with the fans with fistbumbs, as the youth is circeling at the front. In some way, the reminiscent of Brujería, with fine solos on top and a friendly singer named Eggi, ‚not egg‘. 

9Dead then follow with their ‚Slamming Deathcore‘, screaming ‚everybody give me the finger!‘ For them, the show is like a therapy, mixing in songs like „Shook Ones, Pt. II“ of Mobb Deep or „What Is Love“ by Haddaway. They also address the fans of Limp Bizkit, and finish with „115“, a song ‚about aliens‘. 

Headliner of the night are Visceral Disgorge with their ‚Slam Death‘, who shared the stage with likes of Suffocation. They animate to stagedive with songs like „Strangled and Sodomized“, „Necrocoprophagia“, „Maggot Infested Fuck Hole“ or „Skull Fucking Neonatal Necrosis“ from their 2011 debut „Ingesting Putridity“. 

Their style is heavily stomping, with less vocals but gore lyrics and their guitarist gets carried on top of the crowd. So it is an evening of Death Metal, of circelling, banging and moshing, where nothing is missing.
