Shadow Parker (Single 2025)

Klawuta

Indie Pop Rock

Mountains like in the Alps are great barriers to produce special weather phenomenons. They can split clouds so on one side of the rainbow it is dark while on the other side, the sun is shining. The light supports beautiful and intense colors, like in a painting by Bob Ross. Partly set in black-and-white, the cover of „Shadow Parker“ imitates this kind of natural wonders, out via LiMuPic Records

The title refers to your inner self you can’t trick reminds of Lucky Luke, who is faster than his shadow. But usually you are not, so for klawuta, it represents ‚your own needs‘, that you should not ignore, similar like Ruhmer’s struggles in „Chain Reaction“. After „Pokin“ featuring Luca Pettrich, he joined forces with his brother Mr Green my saviour and author Martin Peichl (who he worked with before) for a spoken word part in the middle of this three-minute-piece.

In the very beginning, the riff brings up The Strokes and Nirvana. This Grunge impact is promoted as well by the tone color of the voice like Chris Cornell of Audioslave. Next to the guitar work and riffing transition, the beat is very important, giving a Progressive Jazzy vibe to the Indie Pop Rock tune like Convertible

Another effect is the autotune in the climax before the already mentioned spoken word fill-in, that Dronte perfected in their Acoustic Doom. Going on the Experimental Psychedelic way, Italian sound explorers Earthset and local virtuoso Henrik ‚Hens’ Huber are not far.

With the complex and sophisticated musical structure, „Shadow Parker“ forces oneself to start up one’s brain. What might have been lying in the dark, naturally seems to turn to color. So the music can help to sort the thoughts and turn the sky and mood from gray to blue.
