Out Of Nothing, Masters Of Schlamassel, Gehörsturz

As winter is hanging heavily over the city, various shows invite to escape the grey: Apparat stands for influential electronics, while Sylosis and Distant bring their Metal tour to the 11th district.
Meanwhile at Gürtel, more precise at Kramladen, three local bands united to put up one great show together. Georgy, Oli and Josef are Gehörsturz. A young and promising band with Hardcore Punk and Nirvana influences, as they play few riffs at the beginning.
But they have their own songs, and soon they will release their first EP, as they tell. Examples are „Allein“ or „Sweet Relief“, dedicated to the Shoegaze fans. Only two days later, they are out for their next energetic show at the Planet Festival tour alongside The Devastation and others.
Responsible for the organization of the evening are Masters Of Schlamassel or ‚the boys of hernois‘. On bass, they feature Traumwerk’s very own Thomas Hierzberger and anyway the band is ‚a little wonder‘, as they recall. They like to mix different stiles of heavy music, Rock, Rap and Metal.
So their set gives a lot of opportunity to bang one’s head. With a nine-year-old among their fans, they serve a children’s song as encore. Remembering their Beisl-gig, it is not the first time, they share the stage with Out Of Nothing, who lately opened for Planet Of Zeus.
No question, the headbanging continues with songs like „Wrecking Lives“, „The Pit“ or a song dedicated to their former guitarist. The quartet works extremely well together and ‚when I saw your T-shirts, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden and especially for me Faith No More, I got a visual expression of what the actual fuck is going on here!‘, as a visitor puts it.
Back at their rehearsal room, new music is already in the making. And live, they have plans as well, like teaming up with Lowbau again for their 20th anniversary party at Viper Room in June.
