Satan, Lovecraft and Buddha

Cult Of Fire, The Great Old Ones, Caronte

Mantras For Peaceful Death Over Europe Tour presented by TON Music Productions at ((szene)) Wien, Austria 20250410

For connoisseurs of good live Metal music, this week in April has quite some to choose from: In the beginning, Negative Plane and Hagzissa honor Viper Room and on Thursday, TON Music Productions hosts three bands at ((szene)), who all have new albums to present to the public.

After riffs of Machine Head echoe over the yard, Caronte (Ván Records) from Italy start with Shamanic heavy sound like back with King Dude and The Ruins Of Beverast. Speers and fire bowls dominate their stage design, as they lay the „Spiritvs“ upon thee, like „Black Gold“ from their debut

Like this, the atmosphere is right already for The Great Old Ones (Season Of Mist) from France. They dedicate their fantastic Post Black Metal to the work of author H. P. Lovecraft. The Necronomicon and Cthulhu sympol decorate their microphone stands, as they pick up speed, get free from prison and continue their quest.

Then the world changes again with the Atmopsheric Metal with Hindu/Buddhist themes by Cult of Fire (Beyond Eyes) from Czech Republic. They were part of The Fall III next to likes of Perchta. Since then, they have extented their visual appearance and released „The One, Who Is Made Of Smoke“.

The room is fumigated, the smell is the herald of what await behind the curtain. Two guitarists sit cross-legged under two large snakes. The drummer is hooded as well, and the singer wears a high mask, as he poors liquid on the table. Blasting rhythms, squeeking melodies and the adjuratory voice put their listeners into a trance.

As the prayer wheel turns and the little bell rings, the fulfillment is here. Extreme Metal has taken over again and is again documented by Fraufrostwind, Eclipse New Media and Andreas Graf
