Demonstrating the Power of different Metal styles

Fear Factory, Butcher Babies, Ignea, Ghosts Of Atlantis

As the concert November is coming to its peak, one has to make some decisions. On Wednesday, Rivers Of Nihil would have played amongst others. And Thursday evening, it would be contemplative with Árstíðir at Theater am Spittelberg. But we prefer the DisrupTour leading from Rock City over Dynamo, p.p.c. and Barba Negra to SIMMCity and further to Backstage until the final destination Tavastia.

Opening the evening are the Ghosts Of Atlantis from England. Their outfits match their name, as they could be the dead from „The Fog“ or „Ghost Ship“. They just released their second full-length „Riddles of the Sycophants“ and are happy, that more and more people decided to show up early to see them as band one out of four.

Number two is Ignea, who didn’t visit the city since their show with Illdisposed five years ago. They have a new record out via Napalm Records too and deliver a strong dark Metal show as well. Coming from the Ukraine, they seize the opportunity to thank for the support and invite everyone to visit their beautiful country when it is safe again.

Then the Butcher Babies hit in with a whole lotta energy. Carla Harvey is missing due to a surgery, but Heidi Shepherd has the band and audience on her side. The ‚kingpin‘ they choose every night helps to get the pit going, and meanwhile they announce to return to Europe for e.g. the Stonehenge Festival.

Finally Fear Factory are up next, who even played at Conrad Sohm for example throughout the years and soon will tour with Machine Head soon. With a new singer, they proof again, what they did to Groove, Death, Nu, Industrial or whatever Metal you want to name it. Out there since over thirty years, they are still not lacking in power and complete this fantastic diverse Metal evening.
