„Subcutaneous Tomb“ Album Release Show presented by Mortal Reward at Escape Metalcorner Wien, Austria 20251126

It is November and eventful days are ahead again. Checking the Gürtel only, names like Moosi, Automelodi, Sympathy For Strawberries, Torture Chamber Orchestra or Solar Noir can be found. Meanwhile at Escape Metalcorner, venue of the Doom Over Vienna festival, young, wild and (blood)thirsty (Death) metalheads gather to celebrate a new album. 

Organized by Mortal Reward and promoted with a poster by Elena Tārā, Temora from České Budějovice, Czech Republic are the ones to open. Usually a quartet, they released their first demo via Filth Junkies Records. Tonight, they bring their grim set on stage as trio. Squeaking and grooving, they play a fantastic powerful show, and their facial expression is of joy and pure Death Metal feelings. 

The name of Clairvoyance reminds of the famous Iron Maiden song, with an edgy logo as well. Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, they have their debut „Chasm of Immurement“ out via Carbonized Records. Live and with a new vocalist, they play themselves and their audience into a riff and drum thunder delirium, acting almost possessed by the minds of evil. 

Towards the end, they thank Fessus, who opened e.g. for Father Befouled and present the „Subcutaneous Tomb“ (Darkness Shall Rise Productions) tonight. Probably equalizing the human body to a prison for a dead soul, „Cries from the Ether“ can be heard, going through thick and thin. Their show is one big midtempo monster, swallowing all negativity and turning it into Death Metal relief and pleasure. 

As „Pilgrims Of Morbidity“, Fessus finally release their fans into the night. But fans of the dark arts don’t have to wait, as the next Escape shows are right there, with names like Weltenbrecher, Great Rift, Girlschool, Arcane Veil, Kerbmaldarr or Blood Fire Death at the 23rd anniversary of the venue.
