.. Some Hell at the Farewell

Titan Killer, Wet Spinach, Rämbow

Bierwoche 2025 at Arena Beisl Erdberg, Wien, Austria 20250809

Day six, the Arena Beisl Bierwoche 2025 is in the home stretch. After Vacunt on Thursday and Vensterday on Friday, Saturday comes up with finest Metal, before everything ends with the ‚Wuzzelturnier‘ on Sunday and makes place for the yearly Sommerkino with „Terminator“, „Der Soldat Monika“, „Stop Making Sense“ and more.

As starter, Rämbow present some motörized Rock’n’Roll. Recently, they appeared with Samet of Vibratör and recorded some songs at Primitive Studios. Live, they use Link Wray’s „Rumble“ famous from „Pulp Fiction“ as intro. They „Raise Some Hell“ behind the CO2-jets and are the first step for tonight’s „Insomnia“.

On backing vocals and cowbell, they welcome Robin Frank from Vulvarine, who recently played at Wacken featuring their own guitarist Mario Gidić. Finally during „Bastard“, a hooded person with animal skull mask and axe runs through the audience.

Soon Wet Spinach from Linz follow, who played the festival already years ago as well. The fans are thrilled by their crossover mix like Suicidal Tendencies or D.R.I. with a pinch of a Tony Hawk soundtrack in songs like the „Umbrella Man“. ‚Did somebody have tickets for Taylor Swift?‘, they remind of the happenings one year ago, when the stadium show was cancelled.

Very last live act of this year’s Bierwoche is Titan Killer. Since they performed at Metal Escalation festival, they celebrated ten years of existence and the album „Slow Self-Destruction“. They walk up to Thin Lizzy’s „The Sun Goes Down“ and nail it with songs like „Infuse“, „Rockin’ Until Collapse“ or „Knockout“.

From the new record, they include e.g. „Echoes of Hope“, that focuses on self-care. As substitute guitarist, Etzi from Mortal Strike learned the whole ninety minutes set. And after pitching some Slayer, they deliver a great cover of Judas Priest’s „Breaking The Law“. Just like this, another amazing Bierwoche comes to an end and the desire for the next edition rises already.
