Strong Words, Strong Attitude

Hip Hop ’n Punk 4 SOS Balkanroute 2026 – Day 2

Café Carina Wien, Austria 20261010

For the sixth time already, two genres unite for two days for a good cause: Hip Hop and Punk acts collaborate at Café Carina for the SOS Balkanroute, hosted by Kid Pex. After Union 1850, ZAK! and more were up on Friday, Saturday will bring in the heat while outside the autumn wind blows with more MCs, another band and the DJs Funky P and Shaolinda.

Arman and F.L.O. together are U1 and recently released their debut EP with a show featuring XAM. So they get the party started with the arms in the air and the crowd growing constantly. From then on, the schedule doesn’t leave much breaks, with Mata Granata & Anđa Mitraljeza following right next.

Many also look forward to Bella Diablo, who wins the audience over with strong voice, lyrics and beats. The energy gets the divers visitors, as now it is time for the musical change to feminist Punk: Die grindigen Fotzen enter with classic Rock instruments plus saxophone and ukulele.

Apart from a Die Ärzte cover, they have powerful statements labeling Austria the ‚land of femicides‘, but also sing about being hangovered in „Restfett“. Also Lila Sovia from Germany, who jumped in for Nee-Sha has got something to say: ‚Granting people their dignity is considered radical left-wing; we should make that normal again!‘

The set includes burners like „Süssmaus“, „Alle meine Freunde sind trans“, „Pistazien“, „Immer noch da“ and „Goldzahn“. With the great music and atmosphere – plus the donations given, the 6th Hip Hop ’n’ Punk 4 SOS Balkanroute clearly can be considered a full success. Hopefully the same will apply to their upcoming fundraiser they advertise with flyers.

Meanwhile the Café Carina schedule continues with names like The Vintage Cinema Club, Irokäse at Gürtel Connection, Letz Zeppelin and Die Rotzfete des Grauens with Iron Snag Joe.
