Pokin feat. Luca Pettrich (Single 2025)

Everyone has own scars and wounds to carry. Finding out about them can help to heal together. Deep cuts between mountains can be a symbol for traumas like this. Like the Schweizertor connecting Austria and Switzerland, or the one on the cover of „Pokin“, that lies beyond the starry sky.
In the upper right corner, the elegant klawuta logo is placed with the reverse ‚k‘. Matthias Ledwinka from Dobersberg near the Czech border has launched the project as his own creative playground after Sergeant Pluck himself and while drumming for Lausch.
For his new single, he recruited his nephew Luca Pettrich on electric guitar after features with Jonah Matranga or Martin Peichl. Out via LiMuPic Records (Prototyper, Freischwimma), the tune implements a progressive feeling immediately like Tremonti.
It starts with acoustic chords and very fine tones as the vocals come in like from Second Relation, soon with several voices. The beautiful harmony in the chorus brings up End Of August, while the continuing wonderful guitar work has fingerstyle similarities with likes of Marc Perin or Peter Ratzenbeck.
These harmonies and sweet notes „Pokin“ is all about, so the instruments are protagonists in the music video as well. Shot in blue and yellow light against a dark background, the performance clip reveals the technical skills of Luca and Matthias, who has a cup of coffee, perhaps a reference to the previous single „Cold Coffee“.
As multiinstrumentalist, the video also reminds of Lenny Kravitz and Dave Grohl’s „Play“ and the coloring of junkXfilms and 00s VIVA afternoons. A certain nostalgia, like in the music of Dreamer Dreamer.
Emotions by klawuta, that can help to soothe the soul and heal the wounds. So the cuts like valleys can be overcome and the firmament is the blanket to finally cover the scars that are left.
