Full Throttle Hardcore Grind Noise Stoner Drone
Lilac Vegetal, Caloris Impact, Vomits
„Urlaub auf der Müllinsel“ EP Release Show, Kramladen Wien, Austria 20241017
Thursday rings in the weekend concert hat trick. Great Rift play at Club 1019, TV Smith at Chelsea, rémi.fr at rhiz and Barackca at Café Carina. And at Kramladen, a Lower Austria Stoner Noise outfit adds new notes to their musical direction with this EP release show.
Two support acts prepare for the big bang. Vomits are part of the family and so Matthias Bramauer of Neps, who celebrate their album release soon with Ivery, jumps in on guitar. Mo-G on vocals moves across the stage like Henry Rollins, shouts and growls: ‚I don’t understand!‘ The last one is to ‚come down and hug your loved ones‘, of course on full speed too and after, the band-members hug themselves.
Vomits will be part of the Graz release show as well. Unlike Caloris Impact, who will play at Explo in their hometown and tour the UK soon instead. They don’t slow down at all but go full Escuela Grind and Hardcore. Their songs talk about ‚back in the old days‘, ‚arrogance’, refugees in ‚30k‘, life and ‚progress‘ after all.
The intensity of their ‚Experimental Punk‘ is only topped by Grazil label colleagues Lilac Vegetal. They shared the stage with likes of TarLung or Earth Ship before and present their EP „Urlaub auf der Müllinsel“ today. To their Changó Desert Drone taste, they add some Hardcore as well, that dominates the show, which turns to one big mosh pit, that fills the room and stays for the whole duration of the concert.
So Lilac Vegetal play most songs from the EP and end with „Funny Games“ like Michael Haneke from their self-titled debut. And next to the entry, they offer a lot of merchandise, which they take to SUB and Rockhouse.
