Call My Name (Single 2025)

Rhayn

Dreamy Melancholic Cozy Alternative Indie Folk Pop Singer-Songwriter

To some people, rain equals bad weather. To others, it has something comforting as it is live-giving. Studying at mdw like Ivery and ams, Regina Haring took on a name pronounced like the heavenly phenomenon for her brainchild.

Written Rhayn, it is her playground apart from the wedding group zartgold. There are many idols, from Bob Dylan to The Velvet Underground, Patti Smith and Maggie Rogers or locals Ankathie Koi and Greyshadow. After „I Think Too Much“, her EP „Days at Home“ and the re-release of the song „Home“ with Simon Lewis, „Call My Name“ out via Tailormate Records talks about ‚faded first kisses and growing up too quickly‘.

The colouring of the cover has an autumn flair, that fits the song. Mixed by Max Rott and mastered by Martin Scheer, the first note brings the Sevendust acoustic „Angel’s Son“ to a metalhead’s mind. The soft rhythmic open guitar chords picking is of Yunger, with the fine voice floating above like Ismena or Amelie Tobien

Additional instruments come from Christoph Reinmüller on drums and Dominik Fuss on trumpet. Nicely introduced to the song, the vibe got even something of Pale Male. Listening closely, this sound carpet and lyrics on top create images, like Taylor Swift’sCarolina“ pictures „Where the Crawdads Sing“.

Highlight clearly are the melodies within, that would perfectly orchestrate a festival like formerly the Open Hair placed on a glade with acts like Clara Yucatan, Mose, Loch Lomond or Diver

So Rhayn truly manages to bring ‚comfort and fascination she finds in her favorite books and bands‘ to one’s ear and heart. And several live dates are set for this year or already past like abroad in Italy or at the Klangbäckerei in Mödling and Acoustic Loft at the Viennese Gürtel.
