One day after the historical appearance of Gojira at the opening of the olympic games and the July-edition of Iceberg, Roadtrip To Outta Space holds a very special package. The heat is up already and tunes from Type O Negative and Pantera hum through the big hall of Arena before the show begins.
Since The Devil’s Trade opened for Amenra in 2021, he released the forth album „Vidékek Vannak Idebenn“ and formed a band with drums and keyboard. This summer brought them to Hellfest, Kolorádó and Campusfesztival and will lead them to Rockstadt like Kvelertak, Baroness, Opeth, Sólstafir, Venom Inc., 1349, Left To Die amongst others and tonight, they start with a loud bang.
Between the huge songs, they welcome friends in the first row: ‚Was ist los?‘ Core of the set is „Liminal“, and before the final, they introduce themselves with ‚We are The Devil’s Trade from you don’t want to know‘. After a short break, the pace is about to vary with Dopelord.
The two voices round up the sound spectrum of songs like „Children of the Haze“. For a young fan, they have a free shirt before „Hail Satan“ and „Addicted to Black Magick“. They ‚know we are not the main dish but we are tasty‘ and recall the first time abroad at Escape with Jürgen, who ‚demands a pit‘.
Like Dopelord, the actual main course Stoned Jesus just arrives from Tolminator alongside Electric Wizard, Rise Of The Northstar, Harakiri For The Sky, Milking The Goatmachine, Primordial, Exodus, Testament and many more. They brought songs old and new as well as band members ‚old and new‘.
Also they congratulate the bride of the bachelorette party to her wedding and tell, that it is possible to donate for people who have lost everything at their home Ukraine. So they go from the new album „Father Light“ to the debut to a HIM cover to the fantastic „I’m the Mountain“.
