Splittelse (Split 2024)
Throwe & Sloevsind
Blackened / Metallic Hardcore
A dark fog travels down Øresund at the coast of Denmark. Land of „The Green Butchers“, Lego, the Freetown Christiania, Esbjerg Fuzztival, Næstved Metalfest, Roskilde Festival, Copenhell and bands like Vægtløs, Fuzz Manta, Volbeat or King Diamond. Hailing from the capital Copenhagen, an alliance dwells in this darkness with „Spittelse“ out via Vinyltroll Records.
In the open skull like in „Hannibal“ or „Kill Bill“ of the person on the cover art, a snake lives. The eyes are blindfolded like from David Bowie, the face like a mask like Bob Dylan sang, as the inner darkness got a hold. Throwe and Sloevsind both are Hardcore, Blackened and Metallic. A suitable combination like 1782 and Acid Mammoth or even more like Hajnalpír and Havária. The release, they will celebrate with a ritual at Råhuset with special guest Kōya as support.
Like „Dés Astres“ by Dronte, Royal McBee Corporation, Grind-O-Matic and Thomas Augier, the split commences with an „Intro“ from Throwe, who set out with „Forfald“ before. They wonderfully blend heavy riffs, HC rhythms and Blackened guitars like desolat or Dream Widow in „Mørke“, which they put out as first single, and „Liv Æder Liv“.
In „Ødelæg Dig Selv“, they even built it up for headbanger fans of Our Survival Depends On Us to Thrashers like Machine Head and Slayer. After their „Outro“, the six debut recordings of Sloevsind rumble in like Satyricon with Deathvibes of Deicide and Daksinroy in „Deathbringer“ and „Broken Soul“.
Slamming riffs and voices send „To The Teeth“ to the ear and into the pit. A rhythmic mix like DevilDriver, taking a break in the rain. „Slipping Away“ and the final „P.M.A.“, Sloevsind’s lead single, bring up Raunchy for the fulminant album closing. The black clouds remain over Øresund, as the dark journey repeats itself in the ears. Just like the snake, coiled around the head.
