Art punk by non-punk non-artists

Presented by Paradigm Concerts at Club Lucia, Vienna, 20261031

Autumn is here and deep into it, on October 31st, Paradigm Concerts is bringing the US band Sego at Club LUCIA. A perfect pairing for the chill nights of October.

Sego has drove the attention of several international outlets and taste makers for the past couple years. A music video (TANDANG) winner and nominee of several Video & Film Awards, and commercial collaborations have put them on the spotlight recently.

Yet, their appeal goes beyond those facts, Sego‘s sound is what makes them exceptional. Sego parts from the freshness sensation of the early years of LCD Soundsystem to the deep years of indie sleaze hooks, and mix them with avant-garde chaotic riffs. Performing more than a revival a reinterpretation of what indie rock might sound in the collective imaginary.

Praised not only for their music and their cool videos, Sego is also known for their “experimental live shows”, as Rola Music describe it. And next October 31st at Club LUCIA, we are having the chance to experience all that.
