The Undead Never Die (Single 2026)

Twisted Minds

Heavy/Thrash Metal

Mutants. Created through an unfortunate coincidence. By a virus, by humans themselves. They spread fear and loathing. Sever the flesh and eat bodies. On the TV screen „The Dead Don’t Die“, in games, in music either. From Hell served their visions, Rob Zombie even took on the name, and a Canadian Heavy Thrash band has built its own zombie universe.

Twisted Minds were formed in Québec like Sanaga but in 2000 already and shared their first full-length „Rise Of The Undead“ in 2008. After several more releases, here comes „The Undead Never Die“. Philippe Doyon created the cover artwork in similar style like Michael Hacker, Smalllebowsky/ManBroDude or the Rotten Falafel logo. The skinless creature might have been Krusty the Clown before its transition.

On top, the band’s logo is enthroned, the single’s title is placed in the lower left corner in Wild West typography. Screamingly, the tongue is drooling to the back. Like the song begins musically: After few entering chords, the storm of the zombie attack breaks lose.

The sound is wonderful pure Metal without compromise, with Punk speed like Death Angel, heroes of the second wave of Thrash. Big guitar riffs let the head bang as Luís Maldonalle, while running from the hordes of undeads. As they are coming closer, the vocals of Ben Chapados are motor and motivation to escape.

Bloodcurdling like Nekrogoblikon, his voice comes across the wild instrumentals. A spoken middle part gives time to make a plan like in „Shaun Of The Dead“. But there’s no way to get away from Twisted Minds, infiltrinating every sane cell, ripping off the human facade.

Fast Alexi Laiho licks lead to the final Heavy Metal part like Wildhunt. And the hunt is almost over – as everything will be done, the undead and cockroaches are the only ones to survive.
