Grind’n’Roll Open Air Speed Wagon

Six-Score, Sloow, Chorosia

Bierwoche 2026 at Arena Beisl Erdberg, Austria 20260807

Another hot summer Friday night. Here For A Reason enters Area and the WUK Platzkonzerte with likes of Rolltreppe are about to supersede the Arena Beisl Bierwoche with free open air concerts. What started on Monday with Blütwürm and more, continues with three heavy shows. Johannes Kirchner (Bunt Cunnies) is in charge of the sound, and the beer of the day is Rychtář.

Chorosia (Grazil Records) won’t define their sound, but for sure it is Metal with a lot of Progressive, Sludge, Death and Doom in it. Big guitars and rhythms, served with eyes wide open. In the audience, a child is in the first row. They thank the Venster99 for making this day possible, before „Hands, Switchblades, and Vile Vortices“ from „Stray Dogs“ and offering opportunity to mosh.

The velocity now constantly increases, with Sloow coming up next. They perform wonderfully chaotic Old School Death Metal. With their style, it doesn’t take long, and the snare drum is torn. ‚Antifascism is big in here, that is awesome!‘, they assert. Several songs are from their latest self-titled album like „Convoy of Death“, „Verge of Crucifixion“, and the ‚Punkrocker‘ „Needle on the Loose“.

„Bloodsucker“ ends with a brutal drum inferno. Then Sloow make space for the final band tonight: Six-Score turn their Grindcore up like when opening for Kora Winter for example. Playing that tight with this speed, they convince new listeners, as they delight their long-time fans. During the encore, they go back to ‚the first song we have ever written‘ and underline their dedication to the working class.

On the weekend, the Bierwoche 2026 unfortunately already comes to its end again. BonjourTropfen, Los Flixs and Stone Leek will perform the finals on Saturday. But the next Beisl shows are coming up with likes of Nowitschok-5, 90 and more.
