Where Summer Heat Implodes In Music
Blütwürm, Bonegrinder, Child Cemetery
Bierwoche 2026 at Arena Beisl Erdberg, Austria 20260803
Beginning of August, the heatwave is on its peak and the low-threshold concerts like at Kultursommer continue at Arena Beisl, where Crow Noise (Malaysia) just played. The ‚Bierwoche‘ invites to one week of open air shows for free donation like with Vacunt or Titan Killer last year. Because of the temperatures, it is currently not possible to get tattoos there. But there are shirts in various colors. a relatively heavy line-up and a marvelous laid-back atmosphere.
Beer offer of day one is Hořká 11 from Pivo Černá Hora. Suitable for this cold and smooth refreshment, Child Cemetery adds his one man Brutal Deathgrind. He presents songs from his full-length debut like „Mei Bier is ned deppat“ or „Facial Deconstruction“ next to newer ones like „Homicide Hotline“ or „Hate“. Between the mighty-fine raw sound, he thanks Bogdan (Rotten Falafel) for making this gig possible.
Part two of the cementing heaviness is Bonegrinder. Formerly known as Drencrom and with singer, they shared the stage with Cadû or recently with Eyehategod. Their Bulldozer Sludge and song titles remind of NOLA icon Crowbar or Doom pioneers Black Sabbath. And on Saturday, they introduce the „Blood Moon Queen“ and the „Black Night Funeral“ again at Sauzipf Rocks alongside Verrat, Mephistofeles, Portia and more.
Final black mass of this Monday is with Blütwürm, who appeared with likes of Fessus before. With guitarists from Krampot and Child Cemetery, the direction is straight up Deathcore again. They wear medieval costumes, dragging their audience down the „Murder Hole“. A short but appealing bouncer of this Bierwoche opening. And there’s a lot coming up those days, like the Black Rabbit day with likes of TarLung, Bloodshed666’s and Noise Appeal’s very own Phal:Angst, Venster99 day with Six-Score and more.
