We Are All Made Of Stars

Butterfly DANCE! 2026

Presented by The Nova Jazz & Blues Nights / Barracuda Music at Schlosspark Esterházy Eisenstadt, Austria 20260710

Eisenstadt is known for its Heurigen on the one hand. On the other, the Schlosspark Esterházy, between the palace itself and the Leopoldinentempel provides a romantic space for live music concerts. So the partner festival of Clam RockLovely Days, and the Forestglade are regular happenings, like the Dance, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop and Jazz event Butterfly DANCE!

Buses go directly from Vienna main station to the festival area. The only problem is to find platform ‚R‘, which is actually at the backside, with a paper sign saying ‚Festival Eisenstadt‘. Before entering the festival area, a park bench at Leopoldinenteich invites to rest, as beats from Jürgen Drimal / Vienna Scientists are coming from the stage.

With a seamless transition, Kraak & Smaak Soundsystem begin their set of wonderfully swinging Electro. With the great voice of Berenice Van Leer, memories of Basement Jaxx come up. And even though it is very hot under the sun, the first people are dancing happily already.

During changeover, SchallplattenHannes offers a broad selection of vinyls and CDs (also available for pick up and shipping). And next to classic festival food, there are regional specials like suckling pig available. The lineup continues with chilled, jazzy Soul grooves from Sladek (replacing Freakpower) spreading summer vibes. Epochal solos like towards the end can be expected at Popfest, which is their next stop.

„On and On“, Curtis Harding even features a bass saxophone on stage. The bluesy licks and performance remind of Gary Clark Jr. Sophie Ellis-Bextor then sets off a fireworks display of hit. This includes covers from likes of Abba or Donna Summer as well as new own ones she tells about in a Seitenblicke TV interview and „Murder on the Dancefloor“.

With Jovanotti, Italian flairs and rhythms are perfect to dance to too. And finally, Moby is the fantastic finish. Especially the hits framing the millenium „Play“ („Why does my heart feel so bad?“) and „18“ („Extreme Ways“) get very emotional, after he celebrated the first one with a special tour. A journey to the east, that was way worth it. And while the aftershow party starts at Henrici with Goldschakal, Jakobin and Rising Seed of Luv Shack Records, the first act for 2027 is already announced with Jan Delay.
