Let there be Rain of Blood – it will get cosy

Heretoir, Firtan, Outlaw

Nightsphere Tour presented by AOP Records at Escape Metalcorner Wien, Austria 20231024

Slight rain is falling this grey evening, as the way leads to one of the most favorite Metal clubs: the Escape Metalcorner. Just appropriate, as tonight will be a night of the dark arts.

So already the first act Outlaw brings the cosy ‚bad‘ weather inside, lumbering the attendants with their Melodic Black Metal. On stage, the sickle and lusters catch the eye, like bloody faces of the band with its origin in São Paulo, Brazil. The drums whip the pure frenzy forward like the bass, contrasted with hymnic parts like in songs from their latest record „Reaching Beyond Assiah“.

Firtan then definitely haven’t lost anything of their power since SBOA 2017. The stage is too small for their backdrop, but their flags find place and their torn clothes remind of the fateful night back six years ago. Since then, they released new material like „Faðir“, and they even give a taste of their upcoming release next year. The „Wogen der Trauer“ and Klara Bachmair on violine complete this Black Metal experience.

For Heretoir, it is the time to present their new album „Nightsphere“, which is out on coloured vinyl via AOP Records. The guitar sound and screaming voice carburise their Post Metal right in the beginning, lightened with clean singing. To celebrate, they play many new ones like „Twilight of the Machines“ or the title track of „Wastelands“, ending in a fulminant thunder, even though guitarist Max F. Is missing.

Upstairs, free tour posters and Firtan art prints are available like CDs of Kaak and Champ Chaos. And posters and flyers announce the next happenings like the final Implore show in town, Doom Over Vienna with Endonomos, Black Metal Invasion with Prediciton, Rape The Escape with Gronibard as well as The Dangerous Meeting and Pump Up The Jam.
