The ((szene)) Vienna hosts one legendary Metal group after another: After Exodus, Soulfly, Iced Earth and Wintersun and coming up Ihsahn from Emperor and more, a supergroup hits the boards and it is not Metal Allegiance and not Altitudes & Attitude or From Hell.

The tour package features Critical Mess from Hannover as opener. This band doesn’t need an intro, because what for. They start right away with one blast after another. An awesome Death Metal spectacle. Great vocals and songs, maybe the most outstanding is “Into Oblivion” from the debut “Human Præy”. Indicative is the fact, that the fans that were at their gig at the Viper Room are here again. And before they go off for their eleven hour drive, they advertise their merch and “bags, no bio-pouches”.

Then its time for more Thrash with HateSphere, not to confuse with Hatebreed. The iconic band from Denmark made themselves a big name over the years and just released their tenth studio record “Reduced To Flesh” featuring the huge “Corpse Of Mankind”. From speed via midtempo to groove tracks, this band knows it all. And also how to drink, first the rest of one beer, than a fan hands Esse a new big one, that he kills under two times and then manages to put it on the truss under the ceiling – what a great move.

After another break, Sinsaenum featuring Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot, Murderdolls, Scar The Martyr) and Frédéric Leclercq (Dragonforce) as well as Sean Zatorsky (Dååth) and formerly Attila Csihar (SunnO))), Mayhem). No question, what this combination brings is a grandiose brutal punch of sound. And an amazing live show! Three EPs and two full-lengths the band released so far. From the new “Repulsion for Humanity”, singer Sean tells “I stand alone” is his favourite and for sure one highlight. But also the “Hooch” cover of The Melvins is great, and that the tourmanager helps out at the floortom.
