In the depths of winter, when ski races like in Wengen are all over, atmospheric concerts are highlights too. Catastrophe & Cure play at Burgtheater Kasino, at EKH is an Antifa Soli Party, at Arena Beisl Hardcore from Poland and Slovenia and counterpart at the small hall a Double Death Release. 

This relaxed Death Metal show begins with authentic Blackened style by Graufar. They were for example part of Dome of Rock or Into The Dark at Escape, the main Metal meeting point apart of Viper Room and Battle Axe and where they will return for Black Metal Invasion. Plus soon they will release their second album „Via Necropolis“. 

Next up and second band of five are Athiria, who appeared e.g. at STP Metalweekend. They immediately have the audience on their side as well, especially as the volume of the vocals fit and perform their new and unreleased tribute to Catastrofear. Another highlight is the crow costume and the lantern hold up high by a fan. 

Band number three is Parental Advisory, blending various extreme genres to one since 1997. Known from Into The Dark as well, they are a true highlight too, with songs like „My Darkness“, celebrating a birthday, and welcoming Stefan of the following band for „Human Pinata“. Their songwriting is big fun and stands out like the „Cannibal Family“. 

Then Zerleger present their new EP since Escape and Viper Room „Abgekratzt“. They put a lot of Groove into their songs like „Aufstehen / Sitzenbleiben“ or „Raubritter“ from the EP, which artwork reminds of Hans Holbeins „Danse Macabre“. And only live, they play their latest track entitled „Herbst“. 

Finally, Vermocracy are here to perform their new album „Of Failing and Fading“. They have implemented different styles into their music as well, so the willing listener can hear Cavalera Conspiracy, Ministry and In Flames in it. It marks a fantastic closing of a wonderful evening of Death Metal. And just the day after, the next Extreme show would be waiting at ((szene)) with Ellende, Karg and Firtan.
