Love Is Light (Single 2026)

Street lights are blinking. Electricity fails. Blackout. Still – „Love Is Light“. The first single from a debut EP named „Manic Depression“ is a bringer of hope and uplifting notes. The full piece is set to be released via Tape Capitol Music (Lion Season, Caged Wolves, Discorrected and more). 

Lately, binary_boy appeared at the Gürtel Connection alongside Yunger at Lucia. Now the message is out, music is incoming. Entering the song, the sounds arrive strange on the one, familiar on the other hand. Like the melody, thinking of Seether. The voices (featuring Yves from Mothers Cake) are right there, next to the cool guitar sound. Going high and scratching, variable how Soundgarden could sound. 

With the beat, the head starts nodding. Atmosphere and warm notes create an inner light, nostalgic thoughts go back to likes of Noise Flow or Arklight –  fresh music with organic roots. In this setting, silence is the natural break to the middle part. 

From there, „Love Is Light“ doesn’t glow anymore but burns even brighter, louder, higher. Replacing the midnight sun of Scandinavia, it is beyond shimmering. With a powerful feeling, the final is blowing out like a star. Close to Alternative Metal like Stone Sour, binary_boy work with the song structure, building it up. 

This crescendo with repeating patterns provides a hypnotic effect, going to its fullest, when heard loud without distraction. Then it is possible to get into the tunnel of the music, while escaping from the visual dark tunnel from the single cover (shot at the Trainstein) to the light at the same time. 

Like in a Stephen King story, the image has a positive side. The „Love Of Light“ is right there. And it shines the way to go. For human and (animal) friends. Out of the shadow, into the sun. Live, binary_boy will celebrate at Chelsea on 25th september 2026.
