Vague Scélérate (Album 2025)

Gros Coeur

Tropical psychedelia

Without any further information and the first minute of Vague Scélérate by Gros Coeur (November 21st), one might believe it is a psychedelic band directly from the tropical landscapes of the Amazonian jungle. But little did I know it was nothing but a Belgian band that has steadily made a name for themselves in their home country.

Gros Coeur

Five tracks full of powerful tropical rock, psychedelia, groovy bass lines, and a fine ear for pop details. Vague Scélérate brings us almost 40 minutes of guaranteed joy. Caleidoscopic waves of sounds, changes of rhythm (La Vague) to get you hyped up and dancing immediately.

Everything pulled out of the perfect combo for a mesmerizing musical experience, and if shared, the better, it seems like the album is seeking collective euphoria (Euphorie). Subconscious tribal thoughts may pop up in your mind, and a strange craving for fire under the stars may emerge (Montreal).

Without noticing, you might find yourself in a (Lentement) slow and smooth dance that disconnects your mind for a bit. Taking you to the deep core of the Amazonas, only to culminate in a full crash against your own body (Contre Corps).
