Dark Halloween Extreme Meditation
Oranssi Pazuzu, Múr
European Tour 2026 presented by Doomstar & Roadtrip To Outta Space at Arena Wien – Kleine Halle, Austria 20261031
It is known as the most evil night of the year – Halloween. And it is the strongest day for going out, even prior to New Year’s. So the last years, it was filled with concerts like by Rival Sons (who appeared in „Back To The Beginning“), Ewïg Frost or Spilif.
2026 marks no exception. While Mexicans celebrate the Dia de los Muertos (and others their birthdays), Iron Snag Joe welcomes to the ‚Rotzfete des Grauens‘ at Café Carina, Sonata Arctica supports Beast In Black, and Roadtrip To Outta Space presents a Finnish phenomenon at Arena (again).
The only difference is, that in 2022, this band played at the big hall, and this year at the small hall is sold out obviously. Completely packed to the rafters, Múr from Iceland open with their Progressive Post Metal like for Wheel. The huge keytar catches the eye, as they present a mixture of melodies, slapping bass and heavily epic parts.
This direction, Múr established on their self-titled debut in 2024 out via Century Media and with songs like „Eldhaf“. Tonight, they also brought new material with them, before it is time for one of the most suitable Halloween acts Oranssi Pazuzu. Luckily, they don’t only play festivals in their home-country like Nummirock or Ankea, but keep returning to Arena.
They mainly focus on their last two albums out via Nuclear Blast. The sound is whipping, as the vocals are croaking on top. Heads and hair flying everywhere. As Oranssi Pazuzu come to the end of another wonderfully hypnotic set, they don’t dare to leave without two encores.
Múr and Oranssi Pazuzu then have one last stop on their joint tour at A38 in Budapest. The extreme music shows in Vienna continue right the day after with Wolves In The Throne Room.
And Arena hosts likes of Bonaparte, the Black Parade, Gloryhammer, Monolord with Mars Red Sky, the Impericon Festival with Carnifex and Suffocation, Onk Lou, Glazed Curtains, Luna Kills, Salami Recorder and many more in November..
