The signs point to spring, as some venues call for live music: Near Mid-Vienna at the Viper Room, the double feature Celeste / Conjurer appears. At the Kramladen more West, Grimms Eye celebrates their LP publication with Liquid Earth. And because the pre-release show at Kapu with Speck and Kobudai had to be cancelled, a member of the StoneFree roster finally celebrates its new album at Arena.

Funnily, at the same time at the big hall, Wenzel Beck and Folkshilfe play, who also appear just one day later at the Yes We Care charity show. But as it happened before, our way leads to the small hall, where very punctually at nine Laser Eyes (Kerberos Records) from Graz start their set. It is quite obvious, that they do care about a great performance, as their sound punches in like a thunder, with stroboscope effects doing the lightning. The same applies to their finish, breaking out like a storm as well. And between, their tools are a loop station, the cowbell and double bass as well, that adds the Metal part to their Stoner Doom Garage Rock. 

At a point, they even find time for a little Taylor Hawkins tribute playing the „Everlong“-riff. After their pressuring gig, it is not too long anymore until Tentacula from Linz are up to present „Estrella Destruida“. This second full-lenght after „Tentaculove“ even comes with a Graphic Novel by Aplacefortom, publisher of „The Raw Stuff“. Their Psychedelic shows as they played e.g. with Black Salvation and The Black Bones are a perfect match for a Roadtrip To Outta Space. But especially talking about their guitar work, you can find Hard Rock or Indie as well as even Hip Hop, R’n’B and oriental influences. And like Triptonus and Lurch recently, they leave a stunned audience, or to put it in the words of a visitor: „Bist du deppert!“
