As the Psych Space Rock Extravagance featuring The Great Gray Funk unfortunately got postponed, plans shift. At Arena Dreiraum, Honigdachs presents Alligatorman & MDK. And diagonally across the courtyard, Roadtrip To Outta Space has got a twin pack of heaviness to blow up the big hall after Lurch and Mother’s Cake recently. 

Many familiar faces enter the area already as Gallowhead starts the evening. Coming all the way from Vorarlberg (‚is this right next to Switzerland?‘), they feelingly are the descendants of Riverwitch and Coma. Few months ago, they shared the stage with Academy Awards host Conan O’Brien and Cringe Blizzard at Graf Hugo. 

Tonight, they make the blood stagnate and shiver in the next moment in front of a crowded room. Including two new songs with the bass changing to a second guitar, the two arms of drummer D fall in the same time to burst the scene. 

Then it is time for their headbanging majesty Amenra. Since Durbuy Rock Festival, Amy Tung Barrysmith (Slower) replaced Doodseskader bassist Tim De Gieter. The visual memory is right there: the screen with macros of insects and water floating backwards. Everything is black and white including the lights. And singer Colin H. Van Eeckhout screaming towards the back. 

Beautiful parts and hits like „A Solitary Reign“ alternate with the brutal force of sound. This brings up comments like ‚what’s up with them?‘ or ‚do they hit in?‘ as the effect is like a drug. So not only Cikindeles is among the guests but also Metal concert legend Jan. 

Finally, Roadtrip To Outta Space has announced a ton of new names in the near future including Masters Of Reality, Triptonus with Lev Radagan and Mothers Of The Land, The Vintage Caravan, High On Fire and Belzebong..
