It’s been The Unholy Alliance Tour, that featured Slayer, Slipknot, Mastodon, Children Of Bodom and Amon Amarth amongst others. Now another union teamed up as The Unholy Trinity, to let the darkness of winter last longer in springtime 2025. 

Each of the three Extreme (Black) Metal bands have been out there since the late eighties / early nineties. They count as highly renown in their home countries Greece, Norway and Poland. Mind over Matter now presents them all together as one package at their tour kick-off show in Vienna on Friday, 4th April 2025, followed by Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Cologne and Wiesbaden. 

Opener of the evening will be Rotting Christ. They are a welcome guests also on festivals like Durbuy Rock or Kalten Bach Open Air. Whether at medieval surroundings or deep in the forest, they enlighten a hellish fire live. And they have a brand-new album out via Season Of Mist entitled „Pro Xristou“. 

As second prong of the trident and special guest, Satyricon will rise again. Lately, they were in secrecy but not dormant. Since their last visit 2017 after unleashing „Live at the Opera“ and with their album „Deep Calleth Upon Deep“, they brought forth „Satyricon & Munch“ via Napalm Records. Their impulsive beat and rumbling guitars will be the middle and the heart of this unholy night. 

Finally Behemoth will arise, probably with a lot of fire and symbolism like back with Arch Enemy and Carcass, at Area 53 Festival or SBOA. Their strong visual style, they followed with videos like for „Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel“ from „The Satanist“ (Nuclear Blast), can be felt live as well. 

Until April, maybe their drummer can return, who was replaced this summer by Jon Rice of Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats due to health reasons. And just like this, The Unholy Trinity will be complete. For a dark and evil celebration.
