Minor Tremors (Album 2026)

PHAL:ANGST

Electronic Industrial Analog Post Rock

Minor Threat as influential Hardcore Punk example and Tremor Ama as French contribution to Psychedelic Stoner Metal. Combining their names, we get „Minor Tremors“. An album of cognitive dissonance, beautifully calming and threatening at the same time, coming out via Noise Appeal Records

Emerging the anarchist DIY Hardcore Punk scene and powered by LoudHer PR, PHAL:ANGST set their next step with this long-player. Just in May, they celebrated 20 years of existence at Venster99. In their new Electronic Post Rock opus, they left traces of Metal everywhere.

„All Will Be Grey“ is the prophecy in the beginning with the most wonderful melody – simply a delight. Cymbals and growls, the feeling is close to Mila Cloud, or Prog Metal like in the work of Oranssi Pazuzu, as the drums echoe to be „Made In Orbit“. Here we even detect some Technical Death like Chaos Over Cosmos, as spoken words hover above on spacey sounds.

The several voices build a hypnotic crescendo, even resulting in a Pagan touch, with a lot of hi-hat and appealing outro. „Bug“ enters with a bang. A typical PHAL:ANGST track, dark, atmospheric like Arctic Sounds, with „Predator“ sounds giving ceature horrors like „Tremors“.

Now the energy gets close to Black Metal, with Industrial Electronic distorted beat at the end. The title track then focuses on the beat, with reverberant vocals combined with growls. Finally „Gravity Of Two“ melts into one’s heartbeat with the electronics, recorded and mixed by FAZO666FAZO (Baits, lovehead) and mastered by Alex Vatagin (Voodoo Jürgens, Naked Lunch).

„Minor Tremors“ is more than the title suggests: the production is a major force, with soundtrack vibes, thrilling and pleasing moments and Metal elements to discover. And live, PHAL:ANGST will return to rhiz, the place of their first show on 25th September, presented by Bloodshed666 and Liccht
