Due to a heatwave, the city feels like an oven those days. The European championship is in its semi finals. At the yard of the Arena, the plants are getting watered and best is to sit next to the ash tree with a cold beverage. 

Sounds of Wishbone Ash and The Who relax further. Lately, Hard Charger and Saccage played at the Beisl. Today, it is all about Heavy Psych Prog by Baron Crâne, who return to the venue after Psychedelic Rollercoaster in September. Since they started out in 2014, they released a memorable catalogue including „Les Beaux Jours“ and „Commotions“ out via Mrs Red Sound and „Electric Shades“. But they also like to include tracks from their self-titled debut like „Warm Lake“. 

They know how to take jokes on their origin from Paris, France and seem to enjoy themselves on stage anyway. Obviously, they have friends in the city that like to dance with the partly laid back, partly pretty wild instrumental action. So they shift from classical to Nu Metal to Stoner to arrhythmic to floating spheres, captivating their audience around the stage in the corner. The time before the show, they finally could  to their laundry as they are half way through their tour, they tell. 

Before they end to continue their journey to Red Smoke and Crescendo Festival amongst others, they perform a final track to help to let anger go, after pointing out, how they enjoy to play their music for people.

As about ninety minutes are through, the instrumental Prog Rock fun is done. And this summer, the Beisl is awaiting many more beautiful evenings like this with likes of Büroklammer or Nowitschok-5 and of course the Bierwoche featuring likes of Roadwolf, Indoctrinate, Small Souki, Castingcouch, Triptonus and many more.
