Live at Szene Wien (Live EP 2026)

Grim Justice

Old School 70s Hard Rock 80s Heavy Metal

There are people, who prefer live recordings over studio albums. It can help to get the feeling, of standing in the crowd, hearing it roar, experiencing this moment together. Bands like Sonic Taboo or Black Peaks focused on this medium. For their 15th anniversary, a Heavy Metal Rock band fulfilled themselves this milestone with „Live at Szene Wien“, out on CD via Running Wild Productions and promoted by Vlad Nowajczyk (Rebel Riot, Flight of Odin and more).

On the EP cover, Grim Justice cleverly combine shots from the very Dynamite Nite 2025, that featured Mayburn, Undercode and Purple Roadhouse. With the band’s name and title on top, the stage lights are coming from the back in the middle. As first of five tracks, „This Dark Soul Of Mine“ enters with a classic romantic (Thrash) Metal intro, plus the awaited following riff. Rhythmically, the vocals join and the solo part reminds of instrumental force Mothers Of The Land

With „Hungry Wolves“, a common motive comes next, that Roadwolf perfected. Grim Justice present it dark and stomping with a remarkable chorus like Nazareth. Like the opening one, the third track is taken from „Justice In The Night“: „Curse Of The Moon“. Personal highlight of this EP is „Holy Sword“. Raw guitar power, typical drum entrance and the perfect speed make it a true Rock’n’Roller and prime example of a live banger.

„Lady Death“ as last song draws inspiration from the NWoBHM and of course Dio. After the final goodbye, the audience can be heard once more. „Live at Szene Wien“ presents a hungry band, that shared evenings with Mortal Strike or Titan Killer and of course returns to the stage at Café Carina to present this concert documentation. Like the latest Ghost movie, it gives a great insight, and it is ‚pure live sound, no overdubs‘.
