The Lucky Decision To Move

Fu Manchu, Savanah

Clone Of The Universe World Tour 2018 presented by Roadtrip To Outta Space, Arena Wien – Große Halle, Austria 20180315

The time is right for another Roatrip to Outta Space! They started March already with the mighty Motorpsycho, and this evening a pure legend had to be moved from the small to the big hall of the Arena.

As support they booked the incredible Savanah. Like their companions from Stone Free, The Heavy Minds, the powerful Tokan, Mother’s Cake or Italien heroes Prehistoric Pigs, they are young and hungry. That already came down with their debut EP “Deep Shades” followed by the LP “The Healer” and their support gigs for acts like Colour Haze or Acid King. Presented live, their music is simply magic. The three of them are on point, and therefore within minutes the hall gets crowded, as everyone wants to see this great show.

And now as the place is completely full, the Fuzz itself seizes possession of the audience: Fu Manchu are one of the most changeable bands in the genre and have been here since the beginning. Their latest output “Clone Of The Universe” is a great example, and on stage, the motivation of the band goes over to the crowd. Songs like “California Crossing” bring speed to the pit, “I’ve Been Hexed” is a groove monster par excellence and brings the feeling of freedom of driving through the desert to the old fabric hall. For the encore, the band asks what they should play and many voices vote for “Godzilla”, what makes the Blue Öyster Cult cover the final song of the evening.

Like this, everyone could be just happy that the concert was moved to the big hall. The small would have been nice too, but like this way more fans could enjoy this great concert. Plus anybody who wanted could purchase an original print of another amazing gig poster by Michael Hacker.
